I’m interested in showing some of my art at your store’s location. How can I sign up? How far in advance do I need to reserve a space? Can I sell my paintings there?

Utrecht’s wall gallery changes each month to coincide with the Pearl Districts 1st Thursday art walk. Not to discourage you, but it is impossible for us to show everyone’s work in a solo format. We usually reserve about 4-6 months for employee shows, which is one of the perq’s of working for minimum wage at an art store. We are trying to add more group shows so that everyone can participate. We showed over 20 artist’s work last July for a plein air painting show, so if you are an outdoor painter, keep that in mind. We are also having a show featuring the work of mature women, tentatively titled “Crone”, to celebrate women’s history month in March. Thanks for the interest and keep in touch!

One more reason to shop at Utrecht — to see the work of my husband’s favorite artist. Great to be able to see what can be done with the supplies sold there.
On another note — I’m not sure about the “Crone” title for the mature women’s show…perhaps your subtle wit has creeped through….of course, I think your wit is even more interesting than your art.

Touche — your wit and artistic talent is only exceeded by your intellect — no mother could want for more.
